The drop in food output could begin quite soon, perhaps only 10 years from now. The evidence in support of these predictions has now begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologists are hard-pressed to keep up with it. Last April, in the most devastating outbreak of tornadoes ever recorded, 148 twisters killed more than 300 people and caused half a billion dollars’ worth of damage in 13 U.S. states. To scientists, these seemingly disparate incidents represent the advance signs of fundamental changes in the world’s weather. The stagnant air produced in this way causes an increase in extremes of local weather such as droughts, floods, extended dry spells...... “The world’s food-producing system,” warns Dr. James D. McQuigg of NOAA’s Center for Climatic and Environmental Assessment, “is much more sensitive to the weather variable than it was even five years ago.” Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality."

The above quote is taken from an April 28th Newsweek article from 1975 -- preparing us for the end of the world. The article goes on to describe how they were at the onset of the next ice age and "global cooling". Isn't it interesting how it sounds so much like today's hysteria about "global warming"?

Indeed, the facts described above must be taken with all seriousness. Because one thing is true -- there is a disaster beyond imagination waiting to happen. That disaster is the governments of the world creating laws regarding global warming which will raise prices, cause financial calamities and leave the world hungry and poor --all for the profit of global companies that are gearing up to take advantage of this latest mass hysteria.

Look at what was happening in the winter of 2007/2008 as the global warming zealots were close to convincing the majority that their hysteria was true:

--China has its coldest winter in 100 years

--North America has the most snow cover in 50 years

--Record low temperatures were recorded worldwide

--Snow fell in Buenos Aires for the first time since 1918

--South Africa had more snow than the previous 26 years

--Record levels of Antarctic sea ice

--Oregon recorded temperatures 12 degrees colder than the 1952 record

--Global temperature tracking outlets have released data showing global temperatures have dropped significantly

The list goes on but you get the drift.

And what was their excuse? "well, global warming can lead to temporary global cooling." ...How convenient it is to have an 'end of the earth' theory that you can spin in any direction that the weather blows!

What is perfectly clear is that the hysteria of the 70's was rubbish and it's more than likely that the hysteria of the 21st century is equally flawed. There are simply too many factors in the equation. The advocates of the 'sky is falling' pick and choose the details that make their point. The advocates of 'it's not happening at all' also pick and choose their facts. If anyone actually looked at this with intellectual honesty and without the rose colored glasses of huge profits and billions of tax dollars in so called "carbon credits" available for those on the winning side, they would see that we know nothing about the future. The fraud of all this is no more clearly shown than by the recent acceptance of China's proposal that since their one child policy and forced abortions have prevented 300 million people from being born they are due billions in carbon credits because of this genocide.

There are those who say that even if we are not sure -- we must do something, anything. This is an illogical thought process. If you had a stomach ache would you prefer your doctor remove your appendix in order to do something or would you prefer he actually figure out what the problem is first? Perhaps the problem is a natural one that will subside, without intervention. Doing something when you have no real facts is just as likely to make the situation worse as better. Flipping a coin to do anything, and risking the people and economies of the world, is what is irresponsible in the global warming debate.

One could say that global warming has been occurring for the last 10,000 years, since the last glacial period. At that time the world was covered with ice. In fact, the history of the planet shows many small and large glacial periods (ice ages) proving that the temperature of the planet has been going up and down for millions of years without man to blame. Once again, we wonder how the sky is falling alarmists disregards this fact or can even explain it in the context of their theory of man made global warming. However, we are confident that they have an answer for this too. Kind of like the "it has to get colder before it gets warmer" logic quoted previously.

After all, they rarely get tomorrow's forecast correct! -- Can anyone really believe that they have the next 100 years' weather forecast, for the entire planet, figured out? Unfortunately, many are falling for it. We've seen several places on the internet where this fact has been pointed out and the response from the minions, taking talking points from the mouthpieces of the global warming movement, goes like this. It's clear that we are so much more intelligent than you because we realize that climate and weather are not the same thing. Therefore you people that think this way, being so uneducated, don't have a clue as to what you are saying. What is amazing is that it's a universal response from this crowd. Yet not one of them realizes the obvious connection between weather and climate. Let's explain it this way for the people who are so intelligent that they fail to see simple truth. If we take all the weather that occurred in the last 100 years and compiled it then we would have a pretty accurate picture of the climate for the last 100 years. So, if we can't predict the weather for tomorrow much less a month, year or decade from now than we can't predict the climate either.

We're just wondering how many years the global cooling will last before the real global warming begins!
 

We are fully aware that "global warming can lead to global cooling" as indicated above. We also know the climate change zealots would like us to believe that "resistance is futile".
