Climate Change. The number of scientists who are speaking out for the first
time is heartening -- I take it as a sign that the climate of fear is
subsiding, and that reason may soon reign in this politically charged
debate."

It’s Official: Global Warming Is A Religion: "According to courts in Great Britain: A
fired British executive is suing his former employer on the grounds that he
was unfairly dismissed due to religious views – his belief in global
warming. ...
The judge ruled that Nicholson’s extreme green views fit the definition of
“a philosophical belief under the Employment Equality (Religion and Belief)
Regulations, 2003."

The thought of being lectured about living more meekly by a taxpayer-subsidized
prince who has never done a proper day's work in his life - and who is
flying around Europe on a private jet with a master suite and plush bathroom
that will spew a whopping 53 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere over the
course of his five-day, $US116,000 ($158,000) charter - is of course eye-swivellingly
irritating.
But this is something we're getting used to in Britain, (where)
environmentalism looks like the Revenge of the Aristocrats. The British
green lobby is stuffed with the sons and daughters of privilege, for whom
environmentalism provides a scientifically tinged gloss for expressing in a
new way their old foul prejudices against mass, modern society."

Seeking to Save the Planet, With a Thesaurus: "The problem with global warming, some
environmentalists believe, is “global warming.” ...according to
extensive polling and focus group sessions conducted by ecoAmerica.
Instead of grim warnings about global
warming, the firm advises, talk about “our deteriorating atmosphere.” Drop
discussions of carbon dioxide and bring up “moving away from the dirty fuels
of the past.” Don’t confuse people with cap and trade; use terms like “cap
and cash back” or “pollution reduction refund.”"
As we've been saying all along, global warming
recently renamed as climate change is a giant swindle. It's not about
science or saving anything. It's about convincing you to give up your
freedom and prosperity without a fight.
