Climate Change Seen as Threat to U.S. Security
The changing global
climate will pose profound strategic challenges to the United States in
coming decades, raising the prospect of military intervention to deal with
the effects of violent storms, drought, mass migration and pandemics,
military and intelligence analysts say.
In the face of rising evidence
that the world has gotten colder in the last decade we have this new
hysteria. It doesn't matter how big the lie, how unbelievable the distortion
they will say it and print it with a straight face. Yes folks in 20-30 years
the article says the world will be upside down due to climate change. Storms
and changing weather patterns will prevent food from being grown and
refugees will be everywhere.
Their answer, of course, to
prevent this national security disaster is to enact repressive laws in the
US to tax energy, destroy the economy and drive energy prices through the
roof. We assume none of these measures would be a threat to our national
security as there would be nothing left to secure. Just a country full of
unemployed poor people struggling to live and a few ultra wealthy
individuals who made it big by selling this scam.

National Snow and Ice Data
Center - Summer sea ice update.
From August 1 to 17,
Arctic sea ice extent declined at an average rate of 54,000 square
kilometers (21,000 square miles) per day. This decline was slower than the
same period in 2008, when it was 91,000 square kilometers (35,000 square
miles) per day, and for the same period in 2007, when ice extent declined at
a rate of 84,000 square kilometers (32,000 square miles) per day. The recent
rate of ice loss has slowed considerably compared to most of July. Arctic
sea ice extent is now greater than the same day in 2008.
Wasn't it
just 2 years ago that they were predicting no sea ice at all in a couple of
years?
